Muscat University

Oman Institute for Oil & Gas (InstOG)

The Oman Institute for Oil & Gas, InstOG, a joint venture company owned by Takatuf Oman LLC and Schlumberger Oman was initiated with the objective of training and developing local Omani talent, either fresh graduates, technicians or semi-skilled staff to fill up the expertise gaps anticipated for the continuous growth and development of Omanʼs Energy sector.

The Oman Institute for oil & gas is a state of the art facility dedicated to train and develops the full spectrum of Omani nationals in the Energy industry from fresh graduates to experienced professionals with a strong focus on technical skills, efficiency and safety.

Our learning center will assist Oman in becoming self-sufficient in high caliber engineers and geoscientists who can successfully sustain and further develop Oman’s Energy resources.

Sultan Qaboos University

Sultan Qaboos University is a public university established in 1982 with nine colleges, namely the College of Arts and social sciences, Economics and Political Science, Science, the College of Engineering, the College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences, the College of Nursing, the College of Medicine and Health sciences, the College of Law, and The College of Education. SQU began studying in 1986, which involved its first cohort. The university seeks to equipped its graduates with knowledge and skills suitable and qualified for the labor market in the Sultanate.
