Er. Ho Siong Hin started his career in Ministry of Manpower’s(MOM)Factory Inspectorate in 1982 and held various portfolios. In 2005, Er. Ho was appointed as Commissioner for Workplace Safety and Healthand heconcurrently held the position of Divisional Director of MOM’s Occupational Safety and Health Division till March 2019

Er. Ho holds several positions in various organisations and associations including Secretary-General, International Association of Labour Inspectors (IALI), Honorary Vice-President, Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, UK and President,Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.

Currently, Er. Ho is Senior Director (International WSH) and Vice Dean (School of Regulation), MOM Academy,where he continues to shape MOM’s transformation efforts.

As Senior Director (International WSH), Er. Ho continues to collaborate with international organisations such as International Labour Organisation (ILO)and the International Social Security Association (ISSA), to build networks and learn from others for a sustainable and continuous improvement in Singapore’s OSH performance.
